QR Codes... it's easier than you think!!
What is a QR Code?
Is essentially a barcode that can be read which contains information about an item or a link to a piece of information on a website.
How to read a QR Code?
- Set up your phone to read from the camera – see notes below
- Open your camera to take a picture and you’ll see a link to click to take you to the destination webpage
- Click the link and the information should download and appear for you
Iphone
Go to Settings
Go to Camera
Enable “Scan QR codes”

Samsung
1. Start the Samsung Internet app.
2. Tap the three vertical lines at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Tap “Settings,” and then tap “Useful features.”
4. Turn on QR code reader by sliding the button to the right.
5. Tap the Back button twice to return to the browser window.
6. Tap the address bar at the top of the browser. You should see a QR code button to the right of the microphone.
7. Tap the QR code button and point the phone so the QR code appears in the square in the middle of the screen. After a moment, the browser should automatically display the contents of the QR code.
